Studio (with Lydia Swift)
The first time I worked with dancer Lydia Swift. Lydia and I met for the first time and worked together for two days across Chisenhale Studios and Siobhan Davies Studios.
I made two objects in advance of our meeting which were intended to be more responsive to the body and movement. Because I had to transport them to London on the train they had to be made in parts and simple to reassemble once they reached their destination. This way of working with objects I can travel with on my bike or public transport is something I continue to be interested in, trying to find ways to push my ideas and collaborative practice with found and recycled materials and a lighter footprint.
